2009 marked the20th annual LIGHTS SPECTACULAR - HILL COUNTRY STYLE , rated one of the top ten light shows in the world! Our historic Blanco County courthouse is lit on the Friday after Thanksgiving complete with fireworks overhead. Our Lighted Hooves and Wheels parade is Saturday night, special events are held every weekend and the lights stay on through January 1.
In the spring, Johnson City is known for its wildflowers! Mark your calendar for our annual Wildflower Days Spring Festival the 3rd Sat in April, "Art, Wine and Wildflowers". The season starts in April with bluebonnets and continues through June with a variet of Hill Country wildflowers. below is a photo of the wildflowers taken at our farm May 2008.
