July 15. Angustifolia harvested, Provence spiking in Garden.
August 15. Provence spiking in field. Gros Bleu (fall 2006) looks like it may give us blooms in Oct. - our first of this dark blue long stemmed plant. Stay tuned!
Sept 20. Provence is spiking/in bloom in final field section. Most of Garden in full bloom. Surviving through floods followed by two years of drought shows just how adaptible lavender is.
Yep, that's Tex with one of his projects, a stainless steel and copper lavender distiller. There is nothing quite like the smell of essential lavender oil or hydrosol in the making.

2009: That's Tex on his newest project. Any guesses? I'm guessing we'll be safe from floods at that height!
